I'm a research fellow in the Science and Engineering of Natural Systems group, part of the School of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton. Before that I had a similar position at the University of Leeds. From 1999-2000 I was a postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for human development in Berlin, and I studied for my D.Phil. at the University of Sussex from 1995-1998.
I work on computational models of the evolution of social behaviour: I'm particularly interested in communication and social learning.
