Firefox 3 error message using CiteULike popup window

Recently upgraded to Firefox 3 (Ubuntu 8.04); when the popup bookmarklet is used, the following alert is displayed:

    [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIScrollBoxObject.ensureElementIsVisible]"  :::nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)"  location: "JS frame :: chrome://ffbar/content/scripts/ffbar.js :: anonymous :: line :::1334"  data: no]

In fact this occurs with any popup window, not just CiteULike.

Google search suggests that this is quite a common error and the problem lies with Firefox. Just wondered if changes to the javascript that calls the window could eliminate the alert?

Let me answer my own question :)

The alert message is related to a Firefox extension called mysocial24x7 Disabling this extension stops the alert.

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
