A colleague gave me the hint of taking a look at research on teacher thinking to enhance my knowledge of teachers' beliefs concerning mathematics education. Research on teacher thinking in general education has provided several important insights that might contribute to my own research. I am just about to dive into this 'new' area of research, but it appears to be very promising!
